Once can apply at one of Malta’s Embassies, High Commissions and General Consulates authorized to issue passports.

What if there are no Maltese embassies where I reside?
One must travel to the nearest Maltese Embassy to apply for a new passport Alternatively one can travel to Malta and apply at our office.
If the passport is expired, first one must seek assistance from an EU Embassy to have a one-way travel document issued. With this document, one must travel to the nearest Embassy / Malta to apply for a new passport.
